Lemonade Stand- Host Info
Hello! Thank you for signing up to host a lemonade stand during Crazy Days in downtown Ponca City!
Please remember the location and dates you signed up for and you are welcome to set your own hours. Please remember that each location has varying hours and availability, so it may be in your best interest to locate a restroom prior to setting up your booth.
Crazy Days starts Thursday, July 27th and ends Saturday, July 29th. Ponca City Main Street’s annual Street Party will be on Friday, July 28th from 6-9 pm. We have a few reminders and regulations to be aware of prior to setting up your lemonade stand:
• All children under 14 years of age must have adult supervision at all times.
• Please be sure that you do not block doors/entrances to stores or any merchandise the merchants may have set up outside.
• We will be having a “best sign” contest for the booths. If you would like your child to be entered into the contests to win prize money, you may email us a picture of their sign/stand to [email protected] by Monday, July 31st at 5pm and the winners will be announced the following week. By submitting a photograph, you are giving Ponca City Main Street the rights to use this photograph for advertising purposes. If you do not wish for your children to be used for advertising purposes, please do not include your child in the photo and just send a picture of their booth. Please remember the children must make their own sign to be entered into the prize giveaways.
• Lemonade stand participants will be responsible for supplying all beverages, cups, stand supplies (table, chairs, canopies, etc), money exchange, and cleaning up of space. We encourage bringing a trash bag as trash cans may not be readily accessible at your location.
• We ask that the only item be sold at the stand is lemonade or similar beverage. Due to health codes, treats and/or food items are prohibited.
• Electricity is not available at any location.
• Participant will set their own prices and all proceeds made are the participants to keep.
• Ponca City Main Street will not be held accountable for any accidents, damage, loss, or theft.
• Please be mindful of your surroundings. If trash becomes an issue with this event, unfortunately we would have to discontinue hosting it, so please help keep our downtown clean!
•Be aware that bees like the sweet lemonade- we suggest no open containers on your table and a trash can with a lid
• If you set up during a time your business is not open, we encourage you to locate a restroom prior to setting up your booth. A map of participating locations can be found by using this link Crazy Days Street Party - Ponca City Main Street (downtownponcacity.com). As a reminder, City Hall and the Ponca City Library have restrooms open to the public while they are open.
• Please be sure to advertise to your friends and family to help make your child's booth successful!
In the event you need to cancel, please email us at [email protected] to let us know ahead of the event.
