Each year Ponca City Main Street hosts the region’s best family-friendly Halloween Carnival, Goblins on Grand, in our beautiful historic downtown. Main Street partners with the City of Ponca City, local businesses, clubs, churches, and various organizations within our community to provide a fun and safe trick-or-treating environment. In 2023, Goblins on Grand will be on the 3rd Thursday of October (10/19/2023) with a rain-out date as the 4th Thursday (10/26/2023). The event takes place from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Traffic is closed on Grand Avenue so families can enjoy games, food and dessert trucks, the Glow Booth to buy fun glow-in-the-dark swag, the Witches Dance, a petting zoo, and up to 80 vendor booths for trick-or-treating. Wristbands are $2 for entry into the event. The wristband fee helps us cover event expenses including insurance, marketing, and off-duty police officers. All children who plan to trick-or-treat must have a wristband regardless of age. Trick-or-treaters are encouraged to bring their own bags to collect candy and other goodies.
Vendor booth registrations are available below. Ponca City Main Street investors, non-profit organizations and churches can sign up at no charge (with the exception of premium booths). Non-investors will be required to pay a $25 registration fee. Premium booth spots are available and cost $100. Invoices will be sent to non-investors and premium booth registrants once registration is complete.
This year marks the 17th year of Main Street hosting Goblins on Grand since 2006. This popular community event has become a downtown staple event for families in Ponca City and surrounding communities and draws some of the largest crowds to our downtown each year.
Special thanks to our 2023 Goblins on Grand sponsors!
