Unity Mural Project

PROJECT OUTLINE:

We believe Main Streets are for everyone. At the core of our approach to revitalization is a commitment to creating places of shared prosperity, equal access to opportunity, and inclusive engagement. The National Main Street Center models and champions this vision through their actions and programs. Ponca City Main Street would like to continue National Main Street efforts through a new mural project promoting community connection, unity, and the diversity of our hometown. Main Street is looking for a creative individual or collaborating group to bring us their artistic take on the following quote "Only humility will lead us to unity, and unity will lead to peace."- Mother Teresa.
Designs may be standalone or involve an interactive concept. Previous mural experience is preferred. Supplies and materials are not provided. Commission will be based on design and experience with the budget being $20-$30 per square foot. Design ideas are due by February 10th, 2023. The Ponca City Main Street Board of Directors will determine the chosen design by March 1st, 2023. Renderings are not required but preferred.
