Ponca City Main Street BrewFest

Event Date: Saturday, May 4th, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. – National Big Brew Day!
PCMS will be giving away over $1,000 in CASH PRIZES!Ponca City Main Street is excited to announce a festival created to showcase homebrewers across Oklahoma and surrounding states. We invite home brewers to attend the 2019 BrewFest Festival in downtown Ponca City, OK. The festival will take place Saturday, May 4th, from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Attendees will vote on their favorite beer of the day. Winners will receive cash prizes! First place will take home $600 cash; Second place, $400; and third place $200.
Schedule:
8:00 a.m. – Set-up begins
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Home Brewing 101 Class @ City Central (open to the public)
3:30 p.m. – Home brewers & food trucks ready to serve
4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. – Live Music @ City Central Courtyard
4:00 p.m. – Festival open to VIP Guests
5:00 p.m. – Festival open to General Admission Guests
7:00 p.m. – People’s Choice receptacles/tokens collected
7:30 p.m. – Winners announced and prize money awarded
8:00 p.m. – Festival over! Please quit giving out samples

HOME BREWER INFORMATION
Set-Up Schedule
- The Event location will be on Central Avenue, from 5th – 3rd Streets in downtown Ponca City, OK, 74601.
- Home brewers may begin set-up at 8:00 a.m.
- Home brewers should be ready to serve by 3:30 p.m.
- No set-up or tear-down will be permitted during BrewFest hours.
- BrewFest will supply attendees with a sampling glass, mug or cup.
- Home brewers must comply with the 2 oz. sample size.
- Attendees will be allowed to vote on their favorite beer with a special token. Each home brewer will be given a bucket/receptacle to collect tokens upon arrival at the Festival during their check-in process.
- “Home brewer” means the legal entity, whether corporate or individual(s) entering into this Registration Application for the BrewFest.
- BrewFest/Ponca City Main Street and its Officers, Directors, employees, consultants, agents, affiliates, sponsors, and the host facility (individually and collectively “Event Management” , as the context requires), shall not be responsible for injury (including death), loss, expense or damage to persons, goods, equipment or decorations, caused by accident, or any other cause, either directly or indirectly, during load in and out preparations or during the Event’s scheduled duration on Saturday, May 4th. This applies to any injury, loss or damage to persons, goods, equipment or decorations which occurs during transportation of goods, and/or other cause.
- Event Management shall be in no way whatsoever liable to Home brewer, their employees, agents, invitees, guests, affiliates, successors or assigns (together, the “Vendor Agent”) for their participation in BrewFest.
- Home brewer hereby releases, indemnifies and holds harmless, Event Management, for any and all costs, losses, damages, expenses, liability, and legal costs (on a full indemnity basis) incurred by Event Management, or such one or more of them, as a result of the vendor agent’s breach of the terms and conditions of this application, any policies imposed by the BrewFest, any conditions of the Special Event License, and any applicable law.
- Serving is only permitted to attendees wearing an official festival wristband.
- Home brewers are only permitted to serve alcohol during event hours. No exceptions.
- All home brewers must abide by all local health, safety, alcohol, and fire regulations and all other laws at their cost.
- Keep your area/booth tidy. If any garbage accumulates, please clean up.
- IT IS ILLEGAL TO SERVE AN INTOXICATED PERSON.
- Full payment must be submitted with the application.
- There are no refunds for cancellation.
- Your own brewing station, tent, chairs, tables, etc.
- All supplies needed to brew your beer
- Beer to serve festival attendees
- Copy of your home brewers license – get yours here: https://www.ok.gov/able/documents
- $50 Deposit – ($50 Refundable deposit) secures your position in the festival area – ONLY 50 SPOTS AVAILABLE!!!
- 10x10 brewing space for each vendor/home brewer
- Tokens for beer tasters to vote for their favorite beer
- Wristbands for attendees whose id’s have been properly checked
- Cups for attendees to use for 2 oz. beer samples
